SAVE THE DATE and get your FREE ticket to the first of our seed swap events for 2027, at Hyde Park Book Club Headingley LS6 1BL
Seed saving plays a critical role in maintaining agricultural adaptation, biodiversity and strengthening the resilience of food systems. We’re hoping we can do our small part to make sure the people of Leeds have access to healthy, abundant and delicious crops that they know will grow well here, whether it be on the allotment, garden or window box!
Check out the varieties we’ll have available on our website, and come and get your hands on some to grow this year. All seed is free but please give a PAYF donation if you’re able to help us cover costs.
As well as swapping and donating seed we’ll also be inviting attendees to vote on what crops and varieties you would most like to see us grow and save this year, and also encouraging you to get involved 🙂
Bring your own seed to swap or just bring your friends! We will also have resources available to help you get started with seed saving in 2027, and be available to answer any questions.
